This American Life You may have noticed our new This American Life logo on recent podcasts. It was designed for us by the talented folks over at Number 17, who have made logos for all sorts of famous places like Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, Orbitz and The Daily Beast. We were lucky to have convinced them to slum it with us. In the next ...few months we'll unveil a totally new website that they designed around this new logo.

And here are a couple of the logos concepts that we didn't choose:

My new years resolution is to make an infographic on every This American Life ever made. The idea is to expand and add context to the stories and information contained in the shows. Basically, anything I am curious about while listening to the pieces.

This American Life Oh no! It has come to our attention that the fulfillment house in charge of our holiday shipping failed to meet all of our orders in a timely manner: we deeply apologize. If you had an order issue, emily@thislife.org with your order #, a list of your merchandise, the date you placed the order and the date it arrived. P...lease put “Holiday Shipping” in the subject line. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

This American Life This week: "2010." At the start of a new year, journalistic outfits put out lots of mealy "perhaps oil prices will rise or perhaps they won't" predictions for the coming year. Instead of that, we asked our contributors to predict real events that will happen to them and the people they know in 2010.

This American Life Here is the incredibly legible, professional rundown that we wrote out on our whiteboard wall, to figure out the timings for "#1 Party School." Photo by Ira.

This American Life

This American Life This week: "#1 Party School." This year, The Princeton Review named Penn State the #1 Party School in America. It's a rotating crown—last year it was University of Florida, before that it was West Virginia University. So we wondered: what's it like to beat the country's top party school? (Note, Act Three was not in the... broadcast version of the show. That's a web bonus.)

This American Life Ira writing here. So this week's show "#1 Party School" is one where we had an incredible abundance of great material. So great that the podcast version of the show is 10 minutes longer than the radio version. There's an entire extra story! It's Sunday as I'm posting this and I keep wondering if we should go in an...d add a second extra story. Anyway, hope you guys like the show.

This American Life This week: "How To Rest In Peace." There are umpteen TV shows about solving murders, endless whodunits in bookstores. But what happens to the people left behind after the detectives close the case? This week, three stories about children trying to figure out how to live normally after their parents have died.
