Carol Way Last year, my husband had a blood clot go deep in the right side of the brain causing a stroke. He has recovered fairly well, but suffers from tremors and twitching in his left hand and leg. Sometimes this is quite severe. When we ask the doctors about it, they just shake their head and tell us it is a result of the... stroke. Has anyone else heard or seen these sympton?? If so, have any of this been linked to Dystonia?

I have tried to buy some lottery tickets on line for the past few days and getting a message about my IP address not being in Ontario.
I live in Cornwall, Ont and my Internet Service Provider is Bell.
My IP address is supplied by Bell and judging by the time stamps on my email (5 hours ahead of Eastern Time) they seem to... have moved their servers to a European Time Zone probably Iceland.
Surely the online ticket form could have a tick box declaring you are a resident of Ontario instead of the above nonsense.
I wonder how many ticket sales you are missing!

My uncle was 62 when, in May, he passed away suddenly of a stroke. My father and grandfather were in their 60s when they both suffered strokes. Right before the New Year, I made a firm decision to refrain from eating anything unhealthy and really stick with the healthy stuff, continue to go to the gym and find ways to ...bring my stress levels down.

I am just 50 and had a stroke Oct, 13th 2009. Did not have any worning I was at work,I
am a labor and delivery nurse, when I suddenly fainted. I don't smoke, have HTN, diabetes, no risk factors. So I didn't know what hit me! It was a brain stem stroke. I have temporarely lost use of my right hand and leg. The weird thin...g is I lost hearing in my ears. Eleanora Croll Hi, My husband is 53, type 1 diabetes. He was told from a stress test recently that he has heart disease. I try to watch what he eats, especially at night. His blood sugars swing up and down. Christmas and New Years were the worst for him. Now he turned the page and realizes every day matters. Thank you. I am glad that I found you.
