Carol Warrener I have great respect for the Alzheimer's Society, for the care, commitment and support they offer to all! I hope that one day there will be a cure for this horrible disease. The Jackie Pool Training is very useful and I recomend it to all who work in caring for older people!

Sandra Zammit Hello to everyone who was at the Dementia congress in Harrogate. What an amazing event.

Just discovered this site.
12 years since my husband diagnosis.
It seems like 50 years.
Starting to be violent now.
That is the frightening part.

Jessica Does anyone have any ideas of activities in which people with dementia/alzheimer's can do. Thanks x

Tiah Houghton My grandad was 82 when he died of this heart breaking disease. So after this horrific time we have all decided to do as much as we can for this charity to hopefully one day find a cure. My grandad died last Oct 26th and so far we have raised 500 pounds for the Alzheimers Society and hope that a lot more will come.

Diane Grime My dad was 49 when he was diagniosed with this cruel illness. Sadly we lost him on the 20th September this year at the young age of 55. I know my mum has found not only a lot of comfort and support through our local Alz Society but I think she has also made a lot of friends. So I would just like to say a big thankyou to everyone for looking after my mum in her grief.
